Neovim version (nvim -v)

NVIM v0.11.0-dev-e71d2c817

Operating system/version

Arch Linux

Describe the bug

When opening a file from the explorer using the default edit_vsplit mapping, file gets opened, but it replaces previous file, and in the vertical split another explorer is opened. Video will explain it better:

explorer.mp4

Steps To Reproduce

  1. Open the explorer, open some file properly with "edit"
  2. Go back to explorer, find some other file, do <C-v> to edit in vsplit
  3. Check the results

Expected Behavior

Expected to open up the file in the vertical split on the right side.

Repro

vim.env.LAZY_STDPATH = ".repro"
load(vim.fn.system("curl -s https://raw.githubusercontent.com/folke/lazy.nvim/main/bootstrap.lua"))()

require("lazy.minit").repro({
  spec = {
    { "folke/snacks.nvim", opts = {} },
    -- add any other plugins here
  },
})
