Building a custom finding aid for geolocating medical practitioners
This project first extracts and augments the metadata provided in the digital finding aid of the Archives nationales d'outre-mer (ANOM). Next it visualizes it across time and space allowing for a new way to map colonial medical expertise under the ancien régime.
