We examine how activity and network structure on Bluesky have co-evolved between August 2023 and February 2025 to investigate whether the platform has reached a stable, self-sustaining state.
As it achieves mainstream adoption, the platform is likely to attract bad actors and harmful content. This highlights the need for research on potential abuse and manipulation, as well as effective strategies to mitigate these risks.
