I've taken over maintenance of the version of ws-butler distributed by NonGNU ELPA. I've released version 1.0 there, which fixes this problem. |

In commit cbb0406, a use of
point-at-bolwas changed toline-end-position. However,point-at-bolis an alias forline-beginning-position, notline-end-position. This change has caused ws-butler to stop cleaning up whitespace on save for me.
