Added PDF metadata in Calibre and saved the file for Kavita. Kavita reads the metadata using the new features, but it does not show the release date. The release date does show on the reading list and the series date also populates.
What did you expect?
Release date would be read from metadata and displayed on the volume screen
Kavita Version Number - If you don't see your version number listed, please update Kavita and see if your issue still persists.

I'm not most happy with this fix as it's rather hacky, but the date
input is very picky and requires it to be YYYY-MM-DD; and JS doesn't
seem to have a nice way to do these conversation.
