Install dependencies for client and server repos

npm install

Create your .env file with values for each environment variable

# Client repo
VITE_BACKEND_API_URL_DEV=<LOCAL_API_URL>

VITE_FIREBASE_API_KEY=<FIREBASE_API_KEY>
VITE_FIREBASE_AUTH_DOMAIN=<FIREBASE_AUTH_DOMAIN>
VITE_FIREBASE_PROJECT_ID=<FIREBASE_PROJECT_ID>
VITE_FIREBASE_STORAGE_BUCKET=<FIREBASE_STORAGE_BUCKET>
VITE_FIREBASE_MESSAGING_SENDER_ID=<FIREBASE_MESSAGING_SENDER_ID>
VITE_FIREBASE_APP_ID=<FIREBASE_APP_ID>
VITE_FIREBASE_MEASUREMENT_ID=<FIREBASE_MEASUREMENT_ID>

# Server repo
PORT=<PORT_NUMBER>

Run the development server

# Client repo
npm run start

# Server repo
npm run dev

When the above command completes you'll be able to view your website at http://localhost:3000
