Concern about the current version type

Is version "Version-25.01.0" considered stable?

I hope no.
I started installing the complete wxmaxima package (with wxmaxima 23.05.1).
Then I installed new wxmaxima package, 25.01.0, over the previous installation (Note: I did every "installation" by decompressing the package because I don't have admin permissions in my work PC).
New version have a lot of new features but it seems less stable than the previous version.

I noticed, compared to the 23.05.1:

• Longer start time;
• No way to start by dragging wxmx file over the exe icon (I usually do this in order to start the program and load the working file at the same time;
• Freeze when I close the window by clicking on the window close button (the red button with cross in the titlebar).
• Buggy equations label export.

Then I stopped using 25 and I restored the previous version.

N.B. I deleted every time the c:\Users\USERNAME\maxima folder, because I noticed that when i switch between 23 and 25 versions of wxmaxima the behaviour is more "strange".

@bztd If you have encountered some problem with the version you mentioned, please consider saying what the specific problem is, and we will try to help.

@antoniopaolini I know it is a long process to get bugs fixed, but you can help us by creating a ticket for each separate problem you encounter. E.g. drag and drop wxmx not working, freeze on closing window, equation label problem.

I haven't had any issues using Linux. The issue arises from the addition of the "DevelopmentSnapshot" tag and the need to specify the build type being performed in the build configuration. For Flatpak packaging, you need to choose the stable version. This is just to ensure you're using the correct version, given that the current version is different in Snap.
