Handling NPE occurs when trying to access the context template field

Description

An NPE could occur when validating the default API context due to the contextTemplate field of the API metadata object being set null because of a user error.

Steps to Reproduce

• Deployed a distributed setup.
• Updated the GW server to the 191 U2 level, while keeping the CP node at the 180 update level.
• Deployed some sample APIs and set some APIs as default version APIs.
• Attempted to invoke the API.
