I'm interested in helping out with the maintenance of the core registry and can also help out with docs as well. I'm the core maintainer of AstroNvim, so success of this project is very much in my greatest interest! |

as a lazyvim user heavily depending on mason, I'm interested in better understanding/using this tool. I could help with the registry pr reviews, given I fix my nixos local setup for testing prs. |

I can probably be most reliable in helping to maintain packages I use in the registry. I have a history of open source contributions to projects. I'm open to helping in other parts of the project if necessary. Unfortunately time is not infinite, as all of us know, so its hard to say how much I could dedicate to this project, given the other projects that I'm currently involved in too. I am very interested in seeing this project continue to succeed 😄 |

Hey, I would like to stick my hat in the ring to help out/be a maintainer :) I don't really mind where I end up, in the sense I'll help where you need me but I do find hardening the supply chain very interesting. |

I would also be willing to help. I have a strong interest in LSP and DevEx with the tooling around it. I have made contributions to Neovim Core and have some reasonable popular (although low maintence) plugins. I also have a interest in DevOps and Security. So would love to explore what we can do then make the registry both flexible and secure/trusted |

This is cool, I haven't had a long history in contributing to open-source projects but I'd really like to help out. I'm interested in tooling projects myself and I'd love to be part of this. |

I'd be open to help out. Due to being in the final phase of my PhD project, I won't have time to be very active, but I am happy to help out with smaller contributions.

As part of the upcoming v2.0 release of mason.nvim, I'm now looking for people who would be interested in helping maintain the project, primarily the core registry but also other repositories, both existing and new. Please reply to this discussion if you're interested! If you have specific areas where you'd like to contribute, please include that as well. People with a history of contributions to Mason or other open-source projects are especially welcome to apply.
Some potential future projects that I find particularly interesting are:
