On these site - https://ihackline.com/
I found links with some apps for macOS - https://git.io/JfiVS
And in the archive was IORegistryExplorer v3.0.2 with dark theme. Inside Info.plist this app min macOS is macOS 10.16 (I think it macOS 11)

Here the app:
IORegistryExplorer.app for macOS 11+.zip

It's interesting, do you know who change it it and if anything else was fixed?

It was the case that 3.0.2 seemed to work ok until you started trying to change the display format of entries e.g. to text and then you the whole thing could start freezing up

That and the files it generates being incompatible with version 2.1 led to the adoption of 2.1 as the more useful version

Alas, I don't use this app often. I almost don't use it. Everything I know I wrote in the post above.

You are welcome to start a band new repository (for the sake of Google) copying what you like from this repository and substituting 3.0.2 for 2.1. Let me know if you do, I'll link to it from here in the README.md.

The dark mode isn't perfect but some will surely prefer it, and I myself am rarely having to reformat large data objects these days since OpenCore changes the way certain information is stored.
