Week 07 Assignment #4: Synchronization

Check TARBALL SYNC

  • TARBALL "Z07-SP-SYNC.tar.xz" should be inside the directory.
ls -al Z07-SP-SYNC.tar.xz

Extract TARBALL and RUN Script

bash 07-SP-WEEK07.sh

READ Z07-SP-File-WEEK07-REPORT2.txt

  • copy file WEEK07-MYSHARE.bin to os2.cs.ui.ac.id
  • run "insertShareMemory" (the program is in /usr/local/bin/). The result should be file "WEEK07-REPORT2.txt". In case of error(s) repeat this point.
  • Copy back (scp) file "WEEK07-REPORT2.txt" to your Virtual Guest folder "RESULT/W07/"
cd $HOME/SP_RESULT/W07/
ls -al
