During initial install the script runs but says i have no internet connection but i do?

1. Go to '...'
2. Click on '....'
3. Scroll down to '....'
4. Click on '...'
   turn it on

Expected Result

it was supposed to install a vm with nextcloud very easy but this aint easy

You probably have country block enabled?

Some context: the script make checks against GitHub.com, and if the server can't reach that, then it thinks your internet is dead. With country block that might be triggered since the GitHub server might be in a country you blocked...
