Using the globe projection, with either raster or vector tiles, you get a white screen flash when zooming out and crossing zoom level 12, which is where the projection switches between mercator and globe.

Steps to Trigger Behavior

Using the globe view

  1. Zoom in to zoom level 13 or so
  2. Zoom out past level 12

Expected Behavior

No flash happens

Actual Behavior

A single-frame flash happens
