Pasting from Word does not keep second-level ordered list format

When pasting from word, second level ordered list formatting is not always kept.
Lets say in word i have

1. One
   a) item a
   b) item b
2. Two

Then this is converted to

1. One
   1.1 item a
   1.2 item b
2. Two

it does not always happen, but it seems it is alternating from doing it right to doing it wrong.
What is also annoying is that it is not possible to start a list from another number than 1, there is a feature request for that.
