set gui menu visible off
set gui menu disabled

Expected result: no menu on the title bar and control box (or perhaps only an about option)
Result: menu bar on the title bar and control box, and all the menu items work

This means you cant disable and hide the menu bar with commands - only command line options, which is a bit annoying.
