PREREQUISITES
=============

Database:
- PostgreSQL 9 (or higher)

Python:
- Python2.7

Python Modules:
- Psycopg2 
- Django
- South
- Tastypie Django
- GnuPG
- python imaging library "pil": http://www.pythonware.com/products/pil/
- python-geopy (has a dependency to python-beautifulsoup)
- python gnupg library

Optional Python Modules:
- PyYAML (used for YAML RESTful output)
- lxml   (used for XML RESTful output)



INSTALL
=======

OS X installation:		see installation/contactdb.macosx.install.txt
Ubuntu 12.04 installation:	run installation/contactdb.ubuntu.install.sh


NOTE on old versions of tastypie
===============================

There seems to be an issue with tastypie together with django 1.5x.
Just simply go and edit resources.py in tastypie 

Old:
from django.db.models.sql.constants import QUERY_TERMS, LOOKUP_SEP

New:
from django.db.models.constants import LOOKUP_SEP
from django.db.models.sql.constants import QUERY_TERMS
