So after watching one of our users at SciPy, it seems our user experience for looking at metadata is pretty terrible. We need:

  • User documentation for NCSS metadata
  • User documentation for catalog metadata
  • Add a __str__ method to ncss.metadata so that it prints useful stuff in the notebook/ipython
