Keypress in Client System Triggers MSD Menu Again

Description:
After using the MSD menu, pressing the down arrow (or possibly any key) in the client system causes the MSD menu to reopen. The keypress is also sent to the client system, leading to unintended behavior.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Open the MSD menu.
2. Close the MSD menu.
3. Switch focus back to the client system.
4. Press the down arrow (or another key).
5. Observe that the MSD menu reopens while the keypress is also sent to the client.

Expected Behavior:
The MSD menu should remain closed unless explicitly reopened. Keypresses should only be sent to the intended target.
