Multiple select in all lists in the app

Feature description

Sometimes a user may want to perform the same action on multiple items in a list (e.g. a playlist, the history screen, the list of recommended videos, ...). At the moment, the user has to long-click on every item, and perform the same action from the long press menu. However, it would be faster if NewPipe allowed to first select multiple items, and then perform an action on all of them.

In case this feature is implemented, it would make sense to also add a button that allows selecting the whole list, as this would solve issues such as #5482.

This feature request is quite niche and should be considered carefully before being implemented, because it likely requires heavy changes in various places in the app, and it's not necessarily so useful for many users.

I'm puzzled as to why a feature as ubiquitous as multi-selection of list items could be regarded as niche request. That part I doubt, because:

1. "multi-select, then act on the selection" is a well established UI paradigm, and even "long-press to start selecting" got adopted by mobile mainstream ages ago;
2. the number of users asking for multi selection in one media listing or another, or positively responding to issues doing so, does not indicate a particularly niche request,
   2.1 neither with respect to the general userbase being a vast multiple of the nerdy fraction that communicates via github,
   2.2 nor when compared to other NewPipe FRs that are not labeled niche.

That being said, great to see this long standing usability flaw get some dev attention, after all!
