Why is v1.9.8 not release on ubuntu distros jammy and noble? #427

It looks like these distros come with v1.9.7 which has issues which are fixed in v1.9.8. Is there a reason this version is not be used given that it is only a patch version increment?

That's a good question for the Ubuntu and Debian package maintainers. I am not maintaining these packages myself. Maybe the contacts here could help you? https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/octomap
