Cannot add a second nvme drive

I cannot add a second drive. I’ve tried using the webpage to format the drive which does appear as an option but it I get the loading icon for a few seconds them it turns to a blank page and nothing happens I’ve waited for an hour on this page but nothing seems to happen. Reloading the page just goes back to the white screen. Same if I got back to system and configure storage. I don’t know Linux very well sorry if this is obvious.
